I have started to see more and more Nazarenes quoting scripture from the Passion Translation which is very troubling. How do we lovingly address our concerns with those that feel it is a faithful translation? www.gotquestions.org/Passion-Translation.html

Had never heard of that version . I can see where you are concerned . Guess its not a problem yet in my area of Canada . What year was this translation published ? Couldn't find a date

ok, i posted this, but not sure where it went...but anyway
Kevin, I think your point is right on. For me, anytime something is said about it or the Message, I gently remind those talking that they are NOT translations but only some mans opinion or paraphrase. Some of the stuff is good and on the rare occasion that i quote either in a sermon, I will always preface it with a reminder that they are NOT translations!
