this is the Grace and Peace Magazine sponsored film that debuted at General Assembly. You can see a trailer hereI thought the cinematography was outstanding. They brought up interesting parts of his younger years. But it was not the Bresee I have in my mind. I've read everything there is about the man and I didn't feel that they had read the same sources I had. Regardless, that is only my humble and always wrong opinion. But I'm not sure I would recommend it. It got pretty boring at some points. The historical depictions were right on though, as in housing, furniture, etc... I thought they did a fantastic job with the Pilot Point tent. In my head it was a lot bigger than in the film, but I have to admit, after comparing the original photo of the tent with the people marching around it, they got the measurements right. Anybody else see it and have a more positive impression from it?

They were showing it in the exhibit hall, but it was too crowded for me to really get into it. And when they had a proper showing of it in the Sagamore hall, I wasn't able to attend it. I've been wondering how I can get ahold of it to watch it.
